Hotel de Nell

The Hotel de Nell, open since February 2013, at charge of the group Charm & More, of Jacques Konckier and his daughter Lisa Abrat. The idea was to create a unique way of luxury and sophistication in a subtle, discrete and cozy environment, different of all the five stars in town.

And, without a doubt, they accomplished their goal. Located between the emblematic district of Montmartre and the garden of Palais Royal, the Hotel de Nell fits perfectly in this location, because it is an eclectic, artistic and intellectual neighborhood.

Lobby

Upon arrival we can delight ourselves with the exterior facade from the XIX century in an austere white. On the inside, designed by the architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte, we can find distinct features such as the French paving at the entrance, natural wooden panels in the hallways and bedrooms, fireplaces and retro lighting with dominating sand tones, contrasting with deep blue, resulting in a space with elegant decoration that ensures all the comfort and authenticity to those who stay there.

 The famous Japanese bathtub

Regarding the rooms, there are 33 of them and they’re breathtaking, with great floor carpets, a mixture of light and dark wood, and best of all, an excellent integration of natural light through the immense windows and balconies. As to the bathroom (you already know my passion for this room!) it is Japanese inspired, in pure white marble. The bathtub is to die for and strategically located to receive natural light, perfect to relax in a moment just to ourselves, no doubt, the room’s ex-Libris!

Restaurant La Régalade Conservatoire

We can find a restaurant at Hotel de Nell, the La Régalade Conservatoire with a similar philosophy to the hotel, that being, it wasn’t created another soulless hotel restaurant, instead, the choice was clear, simplicity, quality and friendly atmosphere – a Bistro in charge of the chef Bruno Doucet, the famous Régalade with a unique price of 37€ (starter + main course + dessert); a space which has been the delight of the guests and Parisian foodies that daily fill the space.

The Bar

The hotel also has a space surrounded with books and wine bottles, with a subtle atmosphere, almost confidential – the Library.
Besides this last space, there’s also a bar with a glass ceiling giving it a certain charm, where we can enjoy the Parisian lifestyle in all its inherent charm and bohemian.

The service is polite, elegant and careful to our needs, and something that caught my attention was the fact of being a relaxed service without major etiquette, like in other five stars in Paris, thus marking another difference, and it seemed to me to be pretty interesting and according to the hotel’s atmosphere.

The Hotel de Nell is fascinating because it can transform a simple night into a passionate and authentic well-being approach.
